Everything you need to build an EHX™ Big Muff Pi™ replica, PCB included, in the version you choose. One of the most famous distortion sounds ever.

About the effect

The Big Muff Pi™ is the thick, sustaining fuzz that has been on countless records since the late 1960s. Over the years Electro-Harmonix™ built many versions, usually named by their enclosure cosmetics. We traced factory units and the kit can build any of the transistor versions below. All of them use the same PCB and wiring; only the parts change. Our kits use NPN transistors with negative ground, even where an original used PNP.

What you get

• All the parts and materials to build the version you select, including the PCB
• Version: Triangle, Ram's Head, Violet Ram's Head, Late 70's (3rd), Green Russian, Black Russian, Civil War Russian, NYC, or GGG Tuned (a blend of the Violet Ram's Head and Late 70's versions with a more overdriven character; great on guitar, bass or synth)
• Enclosure: 125B (spec sheet), 1590BB, the larger box (spec sheet), or No Enclosure
